Honolulu Jobs: Where can you find them?
With the unemployment rate hovering around 5.4% this past November (which are the most recent actual statistics), the job market in Honolulu is really not that bad. The problem is - it is not that good either.
So where do people go who are successful at finding jobs? There are a few places to keep in mind during your search such as Craigslist, Simply Hired (which also has a ton of valuable information), and who can forget JobsinHonolulu. These sites all offer a ton of great listings to help you get back on your feet and into a new job.
What can you do while you are waiting to get hired? Simple - volunteer your time at local non profit organizations. Not only will you be able to add some extra experience to your resume (which could set you apart from hundreds of other applicants), but you will feel good while you do it! Who knows, yoiu might actually get a job working for the organization you help out!
